Featured Member - Marlene Wight, Director, Merlin Marketing.
At the invitation of Graham Hudson Marlene first visited BNI Echo back in late 2007, and the rest as they say is history, having now passed her first anniversary with the chapter.
Merlin Marketing is still very much in growth phase and Marlene enjoys the hands on approach to the business, whether that involves preparing a launch event, securing press coverage for clients, writing copy for new brochures, or more in-depth marketing tasks such as rebranding strategies and new product development.
As an outsourced service Marlene enjoys helping companies achieve their aims and believes that companies can see the benefits of outsourcing almost immediately, with overheads kept low and tangible results delivered upon completion of projects.
Marlene is a also very active member of AIC Inverurie Hockey Club, where she has been part of a treble winning team in the 2008-09 season. And if that’s not enough she is also President of North District Hockey, part of the Scottish Hockey Union.
2008 was a fulfilling year for Merlin Marketing and there are great opportunities ahead which will help Merlin Marketing grow further in coming years.
